As a NMRPA member you become a voice in your profession. NMRPA is a
dedicated, professional organization affiliated with the National Recreation and Park
Association. The diverse membership of NMRPA is represented by members from city, county,
and federal government agencies, as well as retired professionals.
Inroads Newsletter is a publication of special events and program ideas provided by
program coordinators and agencies throughout New Mexico.
Annual State Conference
is scheduled each September. The NMRPA conference offers a blend of educational and
social events, and promotes sharing ideas and information among New Mexico recreation and
park professionals.
Workshops / Seminars are
sponsored, each year, throughout the state to meet the special needs and interests of
members, and provide opportunities for continuing education and CEU's.
Member Directory and Handbook
is printed annually. The Member Directory is your resource to locate other parks and
recreation agencies across New Mexico. This valuable resource is available to
members only.
Awards / Citations are
presented to recreation and park agencies throughout New Mexico at the annual State
Conference. Agencies may submit award nominations for the following classifications:
Distinguished Professional · Outstanding Young Professional · Park/Ground
